Kenneth Aidoo is a fine artist and a graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (2019). He has also studied film at the Nederlandse Filmacademie in Amsterdam as well which makes him work across different disciplines engaging in the conversation of the position of people of African descent. By making video-installations on the African diaspora and thus engaging in the heritage of a shared history. In the portraits of his paintings the forgotten narratives of the African is being made present where the erasure of history is cannot be neglected but displayed to see the presence of Africans throughout history.

Kenneth is currently enjoying a successful exhibition, entitled ”Manifestation #39: To be determined” at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
