Black Activation Month celebrates its 2nd edition in De Bijlmer - Amsterdam Zuid-Oost from October 2nd to October 26st, 2025. This free of charge, grassroots initiative thrives on the support and collaboration of its partners and participants, who generously donate their time and resources to ensure this program has a lasting impact beyond the month of October.

We urge you to sign up to our community and support our program by sharing it with your network and simply show up! Since October commemorates Black History Month, we have put the emphasis on ACTIVATION with a program designed to trigger empowerment and inspire transformative change through fashion, film, art, cuisine, music, wellness, spirituality, entrepreneurship and more.

All participating locations will host a variety of events to invite networks, share knowledge, offer free education, and pitch new ventures. Amplifying the African diaspora, her stories, aspirations and shape a legacy for the Netherlands and beyond.

We hold our community accountable to support one another in active participation and celebration of unity, culture and expression.
